From 2022-23, these three government colleges will offer cybersecurity courses – Edexlive

Intermediate students in Telangana can now learn new subjects such as Cyber ​​Security and Artificial Intelligence as the Intermediate Education Council has introduced up to six new professional courses starting from the next academic year (2022-23) .

The three courses introduced for Computer Science students are: Physical Systems and Cyber ​​Security, Cloud Computing and Big Data/AI and Machine Learning. With regard to the professional sectors of the Electronics sector, these are: Electronic and Video Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Embedded System.

An order to this effect was issued by the Council for Higher Education, ordering the authorities to include these courses in three public colleges:
– Government Vocational Junior College Nampally
– New Kukatpally Government Junior College
– Government Junior College for Boys Falknuma

Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) courses are becoming the must-have courses of the hour in India.

Especially with the pandemic and a lot of online work, there is an increasing need to protect computer operating systems, networks and even data against cyberattacks. It can be recalled that according to a US-based cybersecurity firm, Norton, India has faced over 18 million cyberattacks and threats and this is data from the first three months of 2022 alone. The average was nearly 200,000 threats per day.

When it comes to artificial intelligence, or AI, it is undoubtedly the future when it comes to complex decision-making and it allows software to undertake human capabilities such as planning, understanding, etc.
